Gemma Atkinson: 'I needed a stiff drink before filming raunchy sex scenes'

Jungle pin-up Gemma Atkinson has revealed how she had to have a
stiff drink before filming raunchy sex scenes for her new
movie.
Gemma, 23, romped with Ray Winstone's daughter Jaime in
London-based movie Boogie Woogie which stars Joanna Lumley,
Hollywood actresses Gillian Anderson and Heather Graham.

In it she plays a lesbian artist called Charlotte, and she told
her TV camp mates: "It's about the art scene in London. I play an
artist ? a lesbian called Charlotte Bailey.
"I had to do a scene with Jaime - a full-on lesbian session -
and we'd literally met an hour earlier.
"In the film we meet in a club and go home and have sex."

Gemma came in for some teasing from Christopher Biggins, 58, who
asked her if she had to strip naked for the movie and whether she
had to do "tongues" in the kissing scenes.
She said director Duncan Ward told the pair to make it
realistic. But she didn't have to go comepletely nude for the racy
scenes.
Gemma said: "I asked to keep my bottoms on and the director let
me ? so that was cool. When it came to the kissing, he basically
said: 'I just want you to go for it because the more you do it the
more happy it's going to be'."
To which the ex-Hollyoaks star replied: "Me and Jaime said we
might as well do it properly or it's going to look c***.
"So we had a few shots of vodka, closed the set and just did it.
We did it in one take with two cameras."
Gemma and Jaime hadn't met before, but this proved to be an
advantage when it came to filming the intimate scenes.
She said: "We'd only met about an hour earlier but we both said
that if we knew each other already it wouldn't be right.
"I was more comfortable doing it with Jaime than with any of the
lads I've done scenes with before."
And she giggled: "When I got home I felt a bit abused - I got
straight into a bath."
The film is due for release in August 2008.
